mini-update:
last weekend...my friend katie had a housewarming/bday party. her place is so cute--they even painted, which really makes it look finished. i also was introduced to mi madres and ruby's BBQ, two great restaurants. other than that, it was a generally relaxing weekend.

last week...happy hour at miako with the girls, salt lick (aka: food coma), project runway, cooking dinner with fresh stuff from whole foods, dinner at hyde park, the last orientation of the summer (that's where i get to meet incoming freshman--so sad its over!). robin and i have been slowly settling into the apartment. we had our first dinner together. :)

this past weekend...saw "a scanner darkly" (the weirdest movie, but entertaining none-the-less), DT with rebecca and others, 7 hour shopping marathon with robin (for the new apt), building shelves and hanging valences (pictures will come soon), dinner at milto's, sleeping and naps.

can't complain. :0)

things im getting excited for: JCSC training, Knoxville for the first Cal game, students coming back to austin, housewarming party (complete with mojitos--thanks to dan and joe for their contributions!), visitors (hint hint!).
